A LITTLE HELLO FROM ROB

As summer settles in and many of you head off on well-deserved holidays, we've noticed things have slowed down a bit around here – but that's perfectly fine with us! We want to take a moment to thank all of you who have continued to pop in and visit us during these quieter weeks. Your smiling faces and friendly chats are what keep our spirits up and our specialty coffee brewing with extra love, while we continue serving up your favourite Hackney Gelato, delicious shakes, fresh sandwiches and seasonal salads.

We're excited to share some fantastic news with you – we've just launched our brand new retail coffee range! These carefully selected blends are perfect for sharing with family and friends during those lovely summer gatherings. Whether you're hosting a garden party, having a cozy morning with house guests, or simply want to enjoy our signature taste at home, our retail range brings the Barnaby & Boo's experience right to your kitchen.

And here's some exciting news – we're now available on Deliveroo and Just Eat! So whether you're working from home, relaxing in the garden, or simply can't make it out, you can now get your Barnaby & Boo's fix delivered straight to your door or office.

We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our very own Barnaby & Boo’s branded retail coffee bags, now available at both T&T and Barnaby & Boo’s in New Malden! These freshly roasted beans bring all the flavour and quality of your favourite café straight to your home brew.

Choose from three standout blends:

House Blend – A rich, full-bodied coffee with intense chocolate, molasses, raisins, and stone fruit, sourced from select farms across Ethiopia, Guatemala, Peru, and Rwanda. Sweet, deep, and perfectly balanced.

Cinder Bloom – A bright, jammy single-origin from Ysidro Banda’s Finca La Palta in San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Peru, bursting with green apple, blueberry, and brown sugar, rounded out by a gentle, smooth acidity.

Cherry Blossom – A beautifully complex cup featuring fruity chocolate, stone fruit, and kumquat, with subtle notes of almond and orange blossom. This blend combines beans from Guatemala Huehuetenango, Peru Amazonas, and Ethiopia Biftu Gudina for a floral, elegant finish.

All three blends are now on our shelves - perfect for gifting, home brewing, or just keeping your kitchen stocked with the good stuff!

Looking for a fun, free way to spend your Saturday? Head to The Rose Theatre for a day of board games, good food, and great company. With over 150 games for all ages and skill levels, there’s something for everyone - from quick party games to deep strategy classics.

Hosted by the friendly team at Shakes and Ladders, you’ll get help choosing the perfect game, learning the rules, and even settling those tricky in-game debates. No booking needed - just drop in, grab a coffee (they say it’s Kingston’s best!), and get playing.

NEIGHBORHOOD SPOTLIGHT

Stay & Play and Afterschool Family Sessions – Kingston WelCare

Kingston WelCare, in partnership with All Saints Church, offers fun and welcoming Stay & Play sessions for preschoolers and Afterschool Family Sessions for children up to 10 years old. These sessions are a great way for families to enjoy shared activities, meet others, and explore outdoor play in a safe and friendly environment.

Sessions run weekly at WelCare House and All Saints Church and include snacks during after-school times. A small donation of £1 per family is welcome.

Registered families will also receive exclusive updates on exciting school holiday activities.
